And another one!!

K, well they say when it rains it pours, so here I am showerin' some more post love on that *ss!! I just got a link from one of my mentors, Heidi D., from Rancho Los Amigos hospital in Downey where I'm doing my observership in Occupational Therapy. (Shhh!!!! Keep it on the low lest the meanies at EDD find out and pull the plug on your girl for doing something worthwhile during her week.)
Anywho, this here is a link to an article in the Press Telegram covering the annual Midnight in Milan fashion show put on by the OT dept at Rancho. As you can see from the link, it's a pretty fun thing for our patients to participate in, and I'm proud to say I had a little part in helping this year's show!!  Woot-woot!!!
The guy pictured above is Yancy Miller. He may look tame with his walker and Brian Setzer attire, but he's a total bad*ss who's come really far in his recovery, so big PROPS to him!!! In fact, yesterday he gave me and some other ladies in our dept. a joy ride in his simulated car, during which we helped him flip the bird to other computerized motorists, and ultimately crashed into a delivery truck on the e-version of highway 101 while en route to a virtual wine tasting trip. Scandalous!!!! ;-D
